The singer-actress, who made history as the first transgender woman to win a Golden Globe (for her role in ‘Pose’), boards a cast that includes Kim Kardashian, Emma Roberts, and Cara Delevingne.
Re-teaming with Ryan Murphy, who also helmed ‘Pose,’ Rodriguez’s role is being kept under wraps.
As for what viewers can expect from the season more broadly, Deadline reports that AHS season 12 will be based Danielle Valentine’s thriller novel, ‘Delicate Condition,’
It’ll follow a woman who becomes convinced that a shadowy entity is going above and beyond to ensure that her pregnancy doesn’t reach the finish line.
Beyond AHS, Rodriguez is booked and busy.
The star is presently filming season 2 of ‘Loot’ on Apple TV and is set to appear in Paramount’s ‘Transformers: Rise of the Beasts’ (which premieres on June 9). Elsewhere, she’ll be both producing and starring in the indie drama ‘Mudfire.’
