People have accused the YSL associates who took plea deals of "snitching," but they say that's the farthest from the truth. Unfoonk took to IG Stories to let it be known he didn't snitch on his brother and Gunna's attorney denied the rapper snitched:

According to AllHipHop, Young Thug is calling on experts of hip-hop music to testify in his upcoming trial.
The site reports:
The defense plans to call Dr. Erik Nielson, who is referred to as a Hip Hop historian/expert. Nielson co-authored the book Rap on Trial: Race, Lyrics and Guilt in America. Young Thug’s other Hip Hop-related witnesses are Dr. Adam Dunbar of the University of Nevada, Reno and Dr. Charis Kubrin of the University of California, Irvine. The two college professors are listed as Hip Hop/lyrics experts.
Additional witnesses include a cell phone expert, a drug treatment counselor and an expert in video analysis.
Young Thug’s trial could reportedly last up to a year!
Attorneys prosecuting the racketeering case against Young Thug and others asked the Fulton County Judge presiding over the trial to provide a broad timeline to potential jurors.
On Thursday (Dec. 22nd), attorneys for both sides met with Fulton County Judge Ural Glanville to discuss jury selection issues. Glanville estimated that the trial would last six to nine months due to the number of witnesses and defendants in the case.
