However, a new report on its 2025 installment claims two of music’s most towering talents – Kendrick Lamar and Rihanna – have passed on offers to perform.

According to Bloomberg, organizers for Coachella 2025 are in somewhat of a tizzy when it comes to locking in huge headliners.

Citing various sources, Lamar – who is set to perform at the Super Bowl 2025 – declined Coachella and is instead mapping out a seismic stadium tour.

RiRi, whose Fenty business empire has catapulted her to billionaire status, is touted as not needing the money or the exposure.

Though, with fan appetite for her long-awaited 9th studio album at fever-pitch, one has to wonder whether the refusal is more to do with not having the elusive set ready. For, there’s no denying the potent platform that Coachella would be as a promotional launchpad for the LP.

Coachella 2025 takes place April 11-20, 2025.
