After defeating Cody Rhodes at WrestleMania 41, John Cena became the first 17-time champion in WWE history. However, he received some help from Travis Scott to win the title.

Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas recently hosted the main event, when Cena and Rhodes brutalized one another in an attempt for the former to overtake Ric Flair as the organization’s most decorated wrestler.

La Flame arrived in the middle of the bout, walked a long distance to the ring to assist his friend Cena, and was instrumental in stopping Rhodes’ attempt to win by attacking the referee.

During the battle, Scott was also hit by a Cross Rhodes, which left him appearing lifeless on the canvas. To deal with Cena, Rhodes needed to exact revenge on Scott for hurting his ear at Elimination Chamber earlier this year, but it wasn’t enough.

Following a brief title battle between the two, Cena kicked Rhodes in the groin. After striking his opponent over the head with it, he was able to pin him and definitively end the contest. For 47-year-old Cena, who declared his retirement following his farewell tour, it’s the ideal time.
