The second OTA session for Patrick Mahomes and the Chiefs began on Monday. The Kansas City Chiefs have moved past their disappointment in February and are focusing entirely on the upcoming NFL season.

QB Patrick Mahomes is already back in action and setting the tone at the team’s most recent round of Organized Team Activities (OTAs) as Kansas City continues its quest for redemption as the offseason progresses.

The Chiefs’ second OTA session began Monday at their training facility, and Mahomes’ attendance was notable. The two-time NFL MVP shared a peek into the grind on social media in addition to taking part in the optional workouts.

Mahomes posted a picture of himself from the session to his Instagram Stories, leaving the image to speak for itself without any remark. The signal was silent but strong: he’s locked in.

Since his participation in the well-known Kansas City fundraiser for Children’s Mercy Hospital, “Big Slick Celebrity Weekend,” Mahomes has not engaged in team-oriented activities. The charity weekend, which included well-known attendees like Paul Rudd, Jason Sudeikis, and Patrick Mahomes’ brother-in-arms, Jason Kelce, was anchored by Mahomes and longtime comrade Travis Kelce.
