Despite being engaged to Sims, the former NBA player was allegedly having affairs with eight women. Since Sims made the information public, there has been a lot of criticism directed at Barnes’ apparent infidelity. Gilbert Arenas, meanwhile, views things entirely differently.

According to Arenas, having a “side chick” makes him—or any male, for that matter—happy.

As if that weren’t absurd enough coming from a man who was married in December of last year, he went one step further in the remark that followed. Gil stated: “When I used to cheat, I used to be happy to come home.”

He asserted that maintaining his previous relationship was made easier by having a “side chick.” Agent Zero continued by explaining how a man suffers when he doesn’t have a “side chick.” He stated: “When you don’t got no side chicks and you coming home. You be like…be sitting in the car for about an hour.”

Melli Monaco, a French social media personality, is Gil’s spouse. In July 2024, they became engaged, and on December 12, 2024, they were married. Arenas disclosed that he chose that particular wedding date in remembrance of the legendary Kobe Bryant.

But because so many women today enjoy kissing and telling, Agent Zero acknowledged that he has stopped cheating.
