Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs is officially not taking the stand in his criminal trial, and his legal team is wrapping things up without calling a single witness.

Despite previous suggestions from his attorney Marc Agnifilo that the mogul might testify, the defense now says they’re resting their case on Tuesday and sticking strictly to submitted evidence.

Some may say putting Diddy on the stand would’ve been a gamble, especially with elite prosecutors ready to grill him. Instead, the defense has focused on showing text exchanges that allegedly depict Cassie and ‘Jane’ as willing participants in the “freak-offs.”

Meanwhile, prosecutors are wrapping up their side with Homeland Security Agent Joseph Cerciello, who detailed receipts including flight logs, hotel bills, and payments tied to Diddy, ‘Jane’, and male escorts. Jurors were even shown more explicit footage.

With both sides resting on Tuesday, closing arguments are expected on Thursday. A verdict could be handed down by Friday.
