Just weeks after making Hot 100 and Billboard 200 history with his eighth studio album, ‘For All the Dogs,’ superstar rapper Drake is looking to repeat the feat with the project’s surprise-dropped follow-up, ‘For All the Dogs Scary Hours Edition.’

Drake’s ‘For All the Dogs Scary Hours Edition’

Predicted First-Week Sales (SPS): 110k-130k

Predicted First-Week Billboard 200 Placement: #1

Lifted to digital streaming services on Friday (November 17), the 6-track effort – originally believed to be the standalone third installment in Drizzy’s ‘Scary Hours’ EP series – has been branded as an extension of the 23-track, October 6-released ‘Dogs.’

Despite the surprise announcement of its arrival, Apple Music real-time sales charts show the reframed project at #1 in a whopping 57 countries including United States, United Kingdom, South Africa, Jamaica, South Africa, Canada, United Arab Emirates, and others.

Its sales performance in the U.S., coupled with handsome streams on Spotify and other major streamers, have led industry analysts to predict it will land at #1 of the Billboard 200 with total sales of up to 130,000 the week after next.

If the prediction rings true, ‘Scary’ will be his mark his 14th #1 on the Billboard 200 – tying him with JAY-Z for most chart-toppers on the tally among solo acts. Only The Beatles have more with 19.
