Drake Is Excited Over Kendrick Lamar’s Super Bowl Halftime Show Being Tagged As Worst Halftime Show Ever

It seems like everyone’s favorite rapper, Drake, is having a field day over Kendrick Lamar’s Super Bowl halftime show being dubbed as the worst ever. It’s getting interesting!

Now, we all know Drake and Kendrick have had their fair share of friendly rivalry in the music industry. So, it’s no surprise that Drake is taking this opportunity to poke some fun at his rival. I mean, who wouldn’t when your rival is getting roasted in the media?

But let’s be real here, calling Kendrick’s performance the worst halftime show ever might be a bit of a stretch. We’ve seen some pretty cringe-worthy performances in the past, right? So this performance whether worst or best isn’t news but it’s rumored that Drake is happy things didn’t go well for Kendrick at the Super Bowl LIX Halftime show.

Drake, 38, had desperately tried to prevent Lamar, 37, from performing his scathing diss track Not Like Us, in which he refers to the Canadian as a ‘certified paedophile,’ to 83,000 fans at Sunday night’s game.

He had reportedly banned his close friends from watching the set and refused to talk about it.

But despite his failure to veto the track, he was ‘happy’ that viewers tuning in at home were less than impressed by Lamar’s performance.

‘Drake put his friends on a Super Bowl ban and did not tune into the show,’ an insider told DailyMail.com. ‘He was not able to stop Not Like Us from being played and wasn’t happy about it.

‘He knows it resonated with Kendrick’s target audience who have basically exiled him.

‘But he is happy that people weren’t impressed by Kendrick’s performance and is feeling better about his chances of a comeback – even if he does feel that he has lost some of his core fans.’

Fans blasted the show on social media, with one writing: ‘Worst halftime show ever not a fan.’

‘I genuinely can’t tell if I’m being biased against Kendrick but I think this is the worst halftime show I’ve seen in a minute,’ another added.

‘I thought The Weekend was bad but Kendrick Lamar took that spot! Worst half time show ever!’ echoed a third.

Another said: ‘Somehow Kendrick is worse than the game itself.’
