While Jack Harlow is suffering ongoing ridicule for that “terrible” Thanksgiving Halftime Show at the NFL’s Packers versus Lions game on Thursday (November 23), what’s no joke is that music lovers have fallen head over heels for his latest release – ‘Lovin On Me‘ – as evidenced by its #2 premiere on this week’s Hot 100.

‘Lovin’ – this week’s most-streamed and best-selling new song – was already pacing for #1 on next week’s Hot 100 ahead of Harlow’s abysmal showing at Detroit’s Ford Field (seen above), but the exposure – regardless of how cringeworthy – still gave just the push needed to ensure the Kentucky native the victory over the current champion Taylor Swift‘s ‘Cruel Summer.’

Here are the numbers predicted to power the next placement of the Cadillac Dale-sampling tune.

• Streaming ≈ 23.5 million U.S.-based streams
• Sales ≈ 10,500 digital downloads
• Radio Airplay ≈ 20.4 million

Undoubtedly set to be challenged by a wave of holiday music, should ‘Lovin’ prevail it will mark Jack’s third career chart-topper following 2022’s ‘First Class’ and 2021’s ‘Industry Baby‘ with Lil Nas X.

The Billboard Hot 100 typically refreshes on Mondays but may be delayed next week due to Thanksgiving.
