To say Ice Spice‘s latest single, ‘Deli,’ took a big bite out of this week’s Billboard Hot 100 would be an understatement.

Found aboard the recently released deluxe edition of her debut EP, ‘Like..?,’ ‘Deli’ was first introduced to the masses via an electric performance at the 2023 BET Awards before being given the video treatment a month later alongside its official release.

The boost given from the exposure of its George Buford and Frederick Buford-directed clip (alongside the buzz around its parent project) not only pushed ‘Deli’ to an impressive opening on the refreshed Hot 100 but also to great personal milestone status in Spice’s discography.

‘Deli’ debuted at #41 on the updated Billboard Hot 100. Here are the numbers that powered the placement.

• Streaming ≈ 10.5 million U.S.-based streams
• Digital Downloads ≈ 800 copies sold
• Radio Airplay ≈ 400,000 audience impressions

The commercial combo above proved potent enough to give the RIOTUSA-produced cut the best premiere positioning of any female-led song on the chart this week.

Even better, ‘Deli’ delivers Ice’s highest solo debut and overall solo placement on the hitlist to date, besting the #58 peak of the warmly received ‘In Ha Mood.’ Among all songs she appears on, the #2 peak of the Taylor Swift-led ‘Karma‘ remains the rapper’s highest mark met on the Hot 100 yet overall.
