The BET Awards, Culture’s biggest night, just got even bigger thanks to the news that Mariah Carey, Jamie Foxx, Snoop Dogg, and Kirk Franklin are the 2025 recipients of the BET Ultimate Icon Award.

Nearly 6 years since last handing out the special achievement trophy to Tyler Perry in 2019, the BET Awards are making up for lost time by crowning not one, not two, but FOUR superstars the 2025 Ultimate Icon for their respective years of “groundbreaking contributions to music, entertainment, advocacy, and community impact.”

What’s more, Carey, Dogg, and Franklin are set to take the stage to perform.

Their legendary monikers are added to an already megawatt list of performers for the ceremony that includes previously announced names like GloRilla, Lil Wayne, Teyana Taylor, and a tribute to the 25th anniversary of video countdown series ‘106 & Park.’

The Kevin Hart-hosted BET Awards will air live on Monday (June 9).
