Following a wayward pass that struck a young fan in the head, Kyrie Irving made a sophisticated gesture. During the NBA game against the Boston Celtics, the Dallas Mavericks star was attempting to move the ball across the court. The former Rookie of the Year couldn’t find a teammate, though.
The ball then slammed into a small youngster as it flew towards the crowd. After the ball made contact, the fan’s head was seen to move backward. Irving and the Celtics teammates made sure to inquire about the fan’s health.
As the moment went viral on social media, fans adored it. The Celtics defeated the Mavericks 122-107 in the American Airlines Center, and the Mavericks lost the game. The 32-year-old Irving may be pleased with his performance because he still led his team with 22 points.
Irving was questioned about the Celtics’ skill level and whether it surpasses that of the Mavericks following the game.
