The Kansas City Chiefs (10-1) are aware that they are not living up to expectations this season, despite winning back-to-back titles, their 10th victory of the year, and 18 wins in their last 19 games if we include last season. They appear weaker than their stellar record would imply. But with Patrick Mahomes at the helm, the Chiefs consistently manage to stay competitive. Mahomes, who has a 99-26 career record, is expected to defeat the Raiders in the NFL’s inaugural Black Friday game to record his 100th victory.

The Pat McAfee Show’s latest broadcast featured a number of statistics that demonstrated the Chiefs’ mastery of the renowned “situational football” and their ability to win close games.

However, it’s important to note that they have had fewer double-digit leads this season than 20 of the 32 teams in the league. “What’s the point of those leads if we’re still sitting on top?” the Chiefs would undoubtedly counter.
