4 Players Are Kicked Out As Amen Thompson Hurls Tyler Herro

There was a heated argument with less than a minute left in the fourth quarter of Sunday night’s game between the Miami Heat and Houston Rockets, which resulted in the ejection of four players.

Amen Thompson of the Rockets threw Tyler Herro to the ground as the two teams fought for position before an inbounds pass, causing a quarrel between them.

Thompson had enough of the two players pushing each other and snatched Herro’s shirt, throwing him to the ground. The Heat players then surrounded Thompson, and even his teammates joined in.

Amen Thompson and Tyler Herro’s fight was a building-up

Coaches tried to keep players on both sides from getting into a full-fledged fight. While being hauled away by Rockets assistants, Thompson was seen yelling at Herro.

The altercation resulted in the ejection of four players (and two coaches), including Thompson and Jalen Green from the Rockets and Herro and Terry Rozier from the Heat. Ben Sullivan and Ime Udoka, the coaches for Houston, were also dismissed from the game.

Fred VanVleet was cited for a five-second infraction and accidentally bumped into an official while arguing his case. Just before the altercation, he was ejected from the game. Seven ejections were issued in total during the last minute of regulation.
