Virginia Is Accused by Deion Sanders of Interfering With Colorado Players

We now live in a world where Deion Sanders is publicly disparaging the Virginia football program, just when it seemed like there was nothing more shocking about this turbulent time in college athletics.

Yes, you read correctly. Sanders, Deion. Coach Prime. The sole athlete to compete in both the World Series and the Super Bowl. Currently serving as the Colorado football program’s head coach. He also has an issue with the football team at the University of Virginia.

It has to do with the unrestrained disaster that has been created by the combination of uncontrolled NIL money and unlimited transfer portal mobility, just like everything else in college football these days.

Deion Sanders blasts Virginia for trying to tap his players

Knowing that cameras were recording, Deion Sanders criticized Virginia during a Thursday practice at Colorado for offering one of his players “a bag,” or a sizable chunk of NIL money, in exchange for entering the portal and traveling to UVA.

In front of the whole Colorado squad, Sanders asked the player, junior defensive back Carter Stoutmire, to identify the identity of the school that had made the financial offer. He then turned to face the camera and addressed Virginia directly, saying: “Virginia, you gotta stop.”

Sanders continued by saying he had “let you have one,” which seemed to suggest that Virginia had previously successfully interfered with another of his players. The Tweet below contains a video clip of Deion Sanders yelling at Virginia.

Although we are only able to conjecture about the specific events of this case, the following appears to be inferred by Deion Sanders’s extremely impassioned charge against Virginia.
