Ciara Is Ecstatic About Russell Wilson Joining the Giants

Ciara, Russell Wilson‘s wife, is clearly in favor of the move from Pittsburgh to the New York Giants, as evidenced by her strong social media endorsement.

Following a season with the Steelers, the 10-time Pro Bowl player signed a $21 million one-year contract with the Giants on Tuesday, where he might start at quarterback.

Wilson said he was thrilled to call it home since he won Super Bowl XLVIII with the Seattle Seahawks at MetLife Stadium. Ciara also posted the well-known Jay-Z and Alicia Keys song “Empire State of Mind” to her Instagram Story to express her happiness.

Regarding Russ, Ciara stated: “New York State of Mind!” “My greatest inspiration @dangerusswilson.”

A long-standing joke, the Wilson announcement caused football fans to relive his iconic/cringe “Mr. Unliiiiiimited” persona online. However, the 36-year-old quarterback will be looking to show that he still has it in him in the Big Apple.

Since they started dating in 2015, Ciara has supported Russell’s NFL profession, stating in an interview that despite his hectic schedule, he always finds time for a date night.

Wilson wasn’t the only quarterback the Giants signed this summer; Tommy DeVito got a one-year contract to remain in New York, and Jameis Winston agreed to a two-year agreement.
