VIDEO: The Undertaker Says He Once Played Basketball With Hakeem Olajuwon In High School

The Undertaker, the legendary wrestler, apparently played basketball with none other than Hakeem Olajuwon when they were in high school! Can you imagine two giants of their respective fields going head-to-head on the court?

Now, we all know that The Undertaker is a force to be reckoned with in the wrestling ring. But who knew he had some serious basketball skills too? According to The Undertaker, whose real name is Mark William Calaway, Hakeem made him look like he was Magic Johnson on the court.

“I’m in high school, still, and I’m playing with all these guys. I get a run, and I’m playing two (position), I’m a five and I have no business at the two,” the 6’8″ Texas native said in his appearance on the Six Feed Under podcast.

“I’m on Hakeem’s team, so I’m bringing the ball on the left side, and he was incredible his footwork, and everything was just next. He is running on the other side. He wanted me to throw me an alley-oop. he was pointing, and I just crossed mid court, and he is already at the end, and I was like, ‘Oh crap, I just threw that away.’ No. He caught the ball on the run, and we were running back on the court and he was like, ‘Nice, pass man.’ I threw this pass and Hakeem made me look like I was Magic Johnson,” he added.

So there you have it, folks. The Undertaker, the phenom of wrestling, and Hakeem Olajuwon, the Dream himself, once crossed paths on the basketball court. It just goes to show that you never know who you might run into in high school – even if they end up becoming iconic figures in completely different worlds.
