Kawhi Leonard has admitted feeling a little “heartache” over the San Antonio Spurs fans booing him during the Los Angeles Clippers game. Now, we all know Kawhi is an amazing player, winning an NBA championship and all that jazz. But then things got a little messy during the game against the Clippers as fans didn’t feel comfortable with his presence on the court.

But hey, let’s not jump to conclusions here. We have to remember that emotions run high in the world of sports. Fans can be passionate and sometimes they let their feelings show in not-so-nice ways. And I guess it’s only natural for Kawhi to feel a little hurt by all of it. I mean, no one wants to be booed during games.

Kawhi Leonard had a happy outing against the San Antonio Spurs recently. Putting up an impressive show, the Clippers registered a 128-116 win against the Spurs. However, the fans at the Front Bank Center did not seem to enjoy Leonard’s presence at all. As a matter of fact, Leonard was a former member of the Spurs’ outfit. In fact, with his exquisite skills on display, the 33-year-old also led the Spurs to an NBA championship.

Thus, watching their once favorite player wreaking havoc was not something that went well with the audience. Throughout the game, Leonard was booed, which apparently made the NBA star a little upset. Speaking up after the game, Leonard opened up about his emotions as he was booed by his former home crowd.

“It’s just because of the player I am. And what I’ve done here. So it’s a little pain in the heart still. It’s still love in the city wherever I go. But obviously, when I put on that different jersey, they have a great fanbase, so they’re gonna stick to the Spurs, and I’m okay with that,” said Leonard.

So there you have it, folks. Kawhi Leonard admitted to feeling a bit of “heartache” over the Spurs fans booing him during a Clippers game. Emotions run high, and it’s tough to hear those boos coming from the opposition side. I hope he’s still feeling well?
