Police bodycam footage obtained by The Post shows how tearful Tiffany Gomas, 38, refused to leave the boarding area after being escorted off the jet bridge so the American Airlines flight from Dallas to Orlando could take off.
Visibly upset, she continued to stare at the plane out of the window and refused to leave, adamant it would not complete its scheduled journey on July 2.
“I don’t care if I never fly with y’all every again. I just want to know what happens to this flight here,” she tells Dallas Airport Department of Public Safety officers.
As they move to escort her from the terminal she starts to tear up and pleads: “Do not let that flight leave … That flight is not going to make it to Orlando. It’s not going to.”
Looking out the windows as they escort her, Gomas says: “There’s a lot of people on that flight.”
“Y’all need to escort me out…really,” Gomas tells the officer. “Until you see this flight f–ing blow up.”
It is unclear why Gomas, a Dalls native, felt the flight was under threat.
The incident prompting her outburst on the plane had started when she had lost her AirPods and apparently accused another passenger of stealing them.
She then repeatedly tried to exit the plane, causing it to have to return to its gate to eject her.
It was as she attempted to leave the plane that another passenger caught her comments, which later went viral, on video.
Gomas addressed the passengers and told them: “I’m getting the f–k off, and there’s a reason why I’m getting the f–k off. That motherf–er back there is not real.
“You can sit on this plane and you can f–ing die with them or not. I’m not going to.”
Once Gomas had been escorted off the plane it was able to take off and made it safely to Orlando.
Multiple clips of the cops’ response to the incident show former Microsoft employee Gomas — who is in contact with her mother by video call throughout — cussing out officers and trying to get past security to the boarding area again.
When she finally leaves the airport, another passenger reports Gomas pushed him out of the way.
The older gentleman told cops he had no idea why she did it, but the incident prompts them to follow her to the vehicle waiting area.
Gomas appears more lucid at this point, but remains combative with officers.
One says to her “I can tell you’re having a bad day, we’re not trying to make it any worse,” to which she quickly responds, “My dad’s a cop, f–k you dude.”
She then tells the four assembled officers to “get the f–k out of my face.”
The cop responds: “Have a nice day.”
Tiffany told TMZ… there’s no excuse for freaking out on a plane full of people and causing everyone to have to deplane and be delayed.
Tiffany also says her rant could have done without the excessive profanity — she infamously screamed, “That motherf**** back there is not real” — and she’s especially sorry to all the parents onboard who were left to explain the situation to their kids.
Sure Jan.
