Tems is making power moves. This time, off the stage and onto the pitch. The Grammy-winning Nigerian superstar has officially joined San Diego FC (SDFC) as a Club Partner.

Announced today, the ‘Born In The Wild’ songstress joins an elite group of SDFC partners, including Issa Rae and World Cup champion Juan Mata.

Speaking on the move, Tems said:

“I am so stoked to announce I have officially joined the @sandiegofc ownership group as a Club Partner.

I get to be a part of a family that encompasses everything I believe in with the SDFCs @right2dream initiative, which is all about giving young talents the opportunity to shine both on and off the field.

This is more than a club—it’s a movement. Can’t wait for what’s ahead.”

She added:

“Football has a unique way of bringing people together, and I am excited to help build something special in San Diego.”

San Diego FC’s CEO Tom Penn praised Tems’ influence, he stated:

“Tems is an extraordinary artist and cultural force worldwide. We are honored to have her join our Club and bring her visionary perspective to San Diego FC.”
