Sore Loser? Robert Glasper Claps Back at Chris Brown For Dissing His Win at the 2023 GRAMMYs

It’s been 11 years since Chris Brown won his first and last GRAMMY (Best R&B Album for 2011’s ‘F.A.M.E.’), a status his dedicated fans (affectionately called #TeamBreezy) were certainly hoping would change Sunday night (February 5) when the crooner was listed again in the same category.

This time earning mention for his 2022 effort ‘Breezy,’ the R&B bad boy had stiff competition from the likes of Queen of Hip-Hop Soul Mary J. Blige, Lucky Daye, PJ Morton, and Robert Glasper.

After Glasper was named victor for his critically acclaimed album ‘Black Radio III,’ however, Brown and his fans took to social media to let it be known they weren’t exactly happy about the news.

Taking to Instagram Sunday night (February 5), Brown wasn’t exactly subtle with his commentary about Robert.

“Who TF is Robert Glasper,” the ‘Run It’ singer posted before jokingly insinuating he needed to “start playing harmonica” to nab a GRAMMY win.

Once the news reached the desk of Glasper he took time from celebrating his GRAMMY win to address Brown’s slick diss.

“It’s been brought to my attention that y’all have questions about who tf is Robert Glasper,” he started the post. “If y’all have questions. I have answers.”

Glasper followed the post by uploading a slew of congratulatory messages – shade that certainly didn’t go undetected by #TeamBreezy.  Chris hit back with a similar collage of posts, showing career highlights of his own from Billboard stats to sold-out concerts.

Ay yi yi! Can’t we all just get along?
