Legendary singer Smokey Robinson has come under fire after four women filed a sexual battery lawsuit against him.

According to TMZ, the 85-year-old Motown hitmaker is being accused of the repeated sexual assault and rape of four former housekeepers during their tenure working for him.

Per the suit (which was filed today, May 6), the Jane Does say their spells working for the veteran overlapped. It’s claimed the first assault took place in 2007.

Each accuser had a different account, yet the throughline with their claims is that he would allegedly call them into his bedroom or other places, while his wife was away.

It’s alleged that Robinson would then force himself upon them, penetrating them with his fingers, forcibly giving them oral sex, or making them perform oral sex on him. It was then alleged that he would rape forcibly them.

Additional details included specificities such as the star laying down towels and ejaculating inside some of the women, sans any protection.

The women are suing Robinson for sexual battery, assault, false imprisonment, and gender violence, and they want $50 million (at least) in damages.

Interestingly, the women are also roping Robinson’s wife Frances into the suit.

They aren’t accusing her of participating in the alleged crimes, but assert that her alleged knowledge of past sexual infractions and the blind eye turned made it possible for it to occur again. The collective also alleges that Robinson’s wife of 23 years used racially charged language and created a hostile working environment.

There has been no response as of writing from Camp Robinson.
