Skip Bayless Trolls Jimmy Butler for His Last 8 Mins vs Wolves

As Jimmy Butler fails to score in the last eight minutes against the Wolves, Skip Bayless pokes fun at him.

Jimmy Butler has established himself as a postseason upstart. “Playoff Jimmy” is legendary, and Warriors supporters believed they would get to see Butler’s valor up close after Steph Curry was defeated by the Timberwolves in Game 1. For the most part, that was precisely what occurred in Game 3.

Jimmy Butler scored 33 points in his 43 minutes of play, but that doesn’t fully capture the picture. The Wolves came back to win because he was scoreless over the final eight minutes of the fourth quarter.

Skip Bayless has taken it upon himself to make some shots at the former Heat forward, even if Butler’s offensive performance has been the buzz of the town.

As is sometimes the case with his criticisms, Bayless only mentioned his fourth quarter performance, even though he had a strong first three-quarter performance. Butler was a dreadful -11 in the +/- column and only managed 5 points in the 11 minutes he played in the fourth quarter.

The Dubs led by five points after Butler’s final points in the fourth came from the line. The visitors then went on a 25–15 run to win the game and take a 2-1 lead in the series.

The former Undisputed analyst posted the following on his X account:

Given that all parties in the Jimmy-Miami story have acknowledged that it was most likely time for the relationship to terminate, bringing up Riley to make fun of Butler seems a little out of style. Riley actually brought up the entire Jimmy incident during his season-ending news conference and thanked Butler for everything he did for the team during his tenure.
