Shedeur Sanders Ruthlessly Denies Purchasing $500,000 Car

Shedeur Sanders, the quarterback for the Cleveland Browns, may already be one of the most criticized rookies in recent memory before he has ever set foot on the NFL football field. Following a turbulent NFL draft in which Sanders unexpectedly dropped to the fifth round, the young signal-caller is once again making waves in the media for appearing to make an extravagant offseason acquisition.

Sanders’s brother, Deion Sanders Jr., posted a video of a special green Rolls-Royce being delivered to the Sanders family home in Canton, Texas, just over a week after the ink dried on his four-year, $4.6 million rookie contract.

Shedeur and his brother were over the phone talking about the new car, which was reportedly worth about $500,000.

Shedeur Sanders responds to the $500,000 Car

After joining Cleveland, many people thought the car was Shedeur’s and that he had purchased it as a gift for himself. Shedeur directly responded to those rumors on social media on Monday night, delivering a direct message to individuals who were spreading “lies.”

On X, Shedeur wrote: “Another lie…. I’m focused on my team not a car purchase !”

In an effort to protect his son’s reputation, Shedeur’s father, Deion, also commented on the stories that were going about.

Shedeur’s rookie contract, which he signed in early May, did include a $446,553 signing bonus. It seems a bit unrealistic, though, to believe that he immediately spent that whole paycheck on a brand-new, expensive car.
