Shaquille O’Neal Rejects Dwight Howard’s Request to Fight and Ends up Trolling Him

Unsurprisingly, Shaquille O’Neal isn’t a huge admirer of Dwight Howard. For decades, he has been at odds with the other Orlando star. O’Neal previously asserted that Howard’s attempt to adopt the “Superman Moniker” was the catalyst for it. However, because both of their NBA careers are now gone, the hostility ought to have naturally dissipated.

Their most recent exchange on X, however, shows differently. Howard made a lighthearted jab at Shaq on Twitter a few days ago following the finish of the Jake Paul vs. Mike Tyson bout. It was widely believed that the Paul-Tyson battle was a money grab for both boxers, and Howard made a joke about him and Shaq too. He published the following tweet: “Shaq wassup let’s make bread.”

It was rather obvious from his emoji selection that Howard was merely attempting to make fun of O’Neal and his fans. Shaq, however, took the tweet seriously and responded with a ruthless denial.

The 7′ 1″ legend told Dwight Howard that he would only allow people who have won several titles to enter the ring with him. Then he mentioned Rob Gronkowski as the ideal opponent, who has been spotted with O’Neal several times in recent years.

Finally, he appeared to give up his title of “Superman” to Howard, a battle Shaq had fought for decades.

“Gotta have more than one ring to get in the ring with me, I’ll stick with a real champion like @RobGronkowski, and you can have the Superman belt, all yours buddy,”

Howard, in contrast to Shaq, maintained his lighthearted demeanor and clapped back, suggesting that the three-time Finals MVP was avoiding him.
