RIAA: ‘Yeah Glo’ Becomes GloRilla’s FIRST Solo Multi-Platinum Hit

2024 continues to be GloRilla‘s year!

Beyond owning the year’s biggest female Rap hits with cuts like ‘Wanna Be,’ ‘TGIF,’ and ‘Yeah Glo,’ the GRAMMY nominee has been making impressive moves over at the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) as well – a status reaffirmed recently when ‘Yeah’ crossed a new personal milestone for her.

It’s no surprise the year’s biggest female Rap hit would also be the highest-certified!

Taking to press earlier this month, the RIAA published news ‘Yeah Glo’ had been crowned 2x Platinum – a measure that denotes sales equivalence of 2 million in the United States.

Beyond making it one of the highest-certified songs released in 2024 of any genre (among women), its updated certification status makes it Glo’s inaugural unaccompanied hit to be certified as high.

The second multi-Platinum single of her career overall, the success of ‘Yeah Glo’ follows the previously 2x Platinum-christened hit ‘Tomorrow 2‘ featuring Cardi B.
