On this week’s Mediabase pop radio airplay chart, ‘Calm Down’ officially rises to the #1 spot.

It was able to do so with 17,594 spins during the April 30-May 6 tracking period. That number is up from the previous week’s count by 448.

As a result of the spins allowing it to climb to #1, the song officially becomes the first Afrobeats song to ever go number one on the pop airplay chart.

Additionally, it becomes Rema’s first and Selena’s sixth single to ever do so. Her first since ‘Lose You To Love Me’ in 2019.
