After soaring to the top of Pop charts together with 2001’s ‘Lady Marmalade’ remake, powerhouse Pop divas Christina Aguilera and P!nk soared to the top of each other’s sh*tlists – stoking a feud that lasted nearly 16 years before calling a truce in 2017.

In the years since both have revealed their road to reconciliation included the recording of a duet that never surfaced, but neither party counted out the chance it could eventually hit the airwaves.

Look inside to see the reaction of P!nk (born Alecia Moore) when she was recently quizzed on the status of the highly anticipated tune.

Moore has been heavy on the global promo trail in preparation for the February 17 release of her ninth studio album ‘Trustfall‘ and the July kickoff of its supporting stadium tour.

While chatting it up with our friends at Canadian celebrity news outlet ‘eTalk,’ the GRAMMY-winning diva dished on if fans will ever get to hear the result of her studio time with Xtina.

“[I have] no idea,” she responded. “It’s about full circle moments though. That’s the point right? Christina and I went through our stuff before.”

Moore went on to provide another example of a time she reconnected with a former foe.

“I did ‘What About Us?’ with [music video director] Georgia Hudson and then her and I had kind of a falling out,” she started. “I thought of her again for ‘Trustfall’ and was like, ‘Do you want to work with me again?’ She was crying because she was so happy to be able to put a period on the end of a sentence.”

The example gives hope to P!nk and Xtina fans that their joint tune may eventually surface, especially with the latter reportedly hard-at-work on her forthcoming English album.

Alecia’s chat with eTalk comes five years after Aguilera last addressed the unreleased song.

“I would love for it to [come out]. There’s a great song we did together,” the ‘Fighter‘ singer shared before praising P!nk. “I’d definitely like to release that song in a really fun, cool, collaborative way. She’s just such a great artist and has grown into be such a strong force for women and I think she’s awesome. And she sounds amazing on the record.”
