New Song: August Alsina – ‘Weekdays’ (featuring Deeno & Zu)

Despite alluding to retirement plans in late 2021, August Alsina has been cranking out a steady stream of new music over the last few months – much to the delight of his dedicated fans.

After watching his singles ‘Lied To You,’ ‘Myself,’ and ‘2 AM’ enjoy a warm reception from R&B lovers (as we reported here), the 30-year-old has followed with another banger: ‘Weekdays.’

“I blow a bag on Saturday,” he sings on the braggadocious track, “’cause on Sunday I know it’s comin’.”

At writing, it’s not clear if ‘Weekdays’ and its preceding singles are attached to a larger project.
