Mario fans may have been glad to finally get their long-awaited new music fix when the crooner dropped ‘Glad You Came‘ in December, but – as suggested in a recent interview – there may be even more on the horizon.

While hot on the promo trail for the venture, the ‘Let Me Love You’ singer (born Mario Barrett) let a radio interviewer in on the secret that he could soon be cooking up another collaboration with fellow chart-topping crooner Chris Brown – a revelation that spurred curiosity about what other legendary performers are on his duet wishlist.

Chatting it up with WBLS correspondent JusNik, Barrett teased new ventures coming across the board.

“I feel like where I am right now is my prime because even though y’all haven’t seen everything I’m working on, I’m rolling everything out slowly from film and music side,” he relayed. “Now, I have so much more to say and I actually have experienced it.”

Among those new ventures could be a reunion with Chris Brown who he previously collaborated with on the songs ‘Get Back’ (2021) and ‘Won’t Keep You Waiting’ (2023).

“I want to do more music with Chris Brown,” Mario said. “We got to get our schedules together, but we’ve got some things cooking. He’s working on some dope sh-t right now too.”

Brown isn’t the only crooner the GRAMMY-nominated star is looking to collaborate with in the future, however.

When quizzed about his duet wishlist, the ‘Let Me Love You’ singer dropped some surprising names including Busta Rhymes, ASAP Rocky, Usher, and Beyonce.

“Beyonce – to this day. She’s still on top of my list,” he said having previously placed her on his personal “R&B Mt. Rushmore.” “And Usher, I feel like we could do something beautiful together for R&B.”

At the time of this report Mario has not revealed a tentative date of his new ventures and if said endeavors will include members from his collaboration wishlist.

What’s for sure, however, is the 38-year-old will be teaming with Hip Hop Soul Queen Mary J. Blige and R&B superstar Ne-Yo aboard the ‘For My Fans Tour‘ kicking off in late January.
