Lil Nas X Announces New HBO Documentary ‘Long Live Montero’

Lil Nas X is returning to the spotlight with more than just new music.

Because, amidst the push for his incoming material, the Hip-Pop performer has announced his documentary special, ‘Long Live Montero.’

Housed on HBO and set to stream on the network’s companion streaming platform Max, the special will land on January 27.

First premiered at the Toronto Film Festival, the documentary chronicles 60 days with the star while on his ‘Long Live Montero Tour’, which was mounted in support of his debut album, 2021’s ‘Montero.’

Taking on a diary-esque format, the docu-film will see Nas (born Montero Hill) reflect on his career and his place in the Pop sphere as a Black queer performer.

‘Long Live Montero’ will be broadcast on HBO on January 27 at 8pm ET and will stream on Max.
