Despite having over 400 industry awards to her credit, Lady Gaga‘s trophy collection is still boasting “first-ever” additions as evidenced by a new victory on Tuesday (May 20).

Gaga’s nabbed four Primetime EMMY nominations over the years (2011, 2015, 2017, and 2022), but it was her stirring performance of ‘Hold My Hand‘ at the 2025 Super Bowl pregame that finally put the coveted gold trophy in her possession.

A tribute to the victims of the New Orleans terror attack on December 31 as well as American communities recovering from the devastation of hurricanes and wildfires, the February 9 performance saw the songstress deliver a stripped-down version of her Academy Award-nominated ‘Top Gun: Maverick’ single.

Defeating ‘Evolution of the Black Quarterback,’ ‘The Lionheart,’ ‘The Turnaround,‘ and ‘Noche UFC’ in the Outstanding Music Direction category, Gaga’s ‘Hand’ helped her collect the first EMMY of her career (alongside fellow producers Seth Dudowsky, Bill Richards, Joel Santos, Jesse Weiss, Brad Zager, and music editor Joe Nargi).

A previous Academy Award and 14-time GRAMMY winner, Lady Gaga is now just a TONY Award away from being crowned EGOT – a title afforded to performers who have captured the entertainment industry’s top four awards (EMMY, GRAMMY, OSCAR, TONY).
