Kylie Minogue is already an icon of icons, with a success narrative that will go down in history.

With new single ‘Padam Padam,’ the diva is adding fresh pages of success to her seismic story.

The infectious cut, which serves as the lead single from the performer’s 16th studio album ‘Tension’ (due September 22) has been vibrating on a global scale.

Lighting a match under it the more, Minogue is currently in the US promoting the release.

And, during an appearance on the Today Show this morning, she teased being Stateside much more – by way of a Las Vegas residency.

When quizzed about a residency of sorts, the 55-year-old coyly replied:

“Look, there is a song on my album called ‘Vegas High,’ that’s all I’m saying.”

While we await official word on a residency, mid-week tallies have ‘Padam Padam’ strutting towards a possible new peak of #7 on the Official UK Singles Chart – following its historic leap into the top 10 last week.
