Jordin Sparks is strutting back onto the scene with her first traditional studio album in almost a decade.

The American Idol winner last released a contemporary effort in 2015 with ‘Right Here Right Now’ and, in the time since, she has fed fans with droplets of music by way of sporadic singles.

2020 brought with it the Holiday LP ‘Cider & Hennessey,’ however loyalists have had a growing appetite for fresh material from the vocalist.

In an announcement made moments ago, Sparks revealed that she’s heeding those requests with her incoming effort ‘No Restrictions.’

Set for release on September 13, the album is preceded by the taster cut ‘Remember.’

Speaking on the record, Sparks said:

“It’s been many, many moons ???? since I’ve released an album…a complete, cohesive body of work. I told you that when the date was set, you would know. I’m so excited to announce my next album, ‘No Restrictions’ is yours on Friday, September 13th. I’ve spent many years crafting this body of work, and I’m excited for you to experience this music for yourselves. ✨???? Thank you for being patient with me, and allowing me the time to grow alongside this project. If you manifest during this full moon energy, you may just get a tracklist soon…features and all!”
