Jonathan Majors Dropped By Manager & PR Company, Will Not Attend Met Gala Amid Assault Allegations

Looks like Jonathan Majors is going solo in Hollywood, as insiders confirm that the talented actor has parted ways with his management team at Entertainment 360. It’s also being reported the Marvel star will not be attending fashions biggest night: the Met Gala. The news comes as the actor faces criminal charges that involve assault in New York. More details inside…. Jonathan Majors is now without management or public relations company representation as he faces criminal charges in New York. According to Deadline, the actor's talent agency, Entertainment 360, and top public relations firm, The Lede Company, have both severed ties with the CREED III star. According to reports, this decision was made due to "issues surrounding the actor's personal behavior." In the fashion world, famed designer house Valentino and Jonathan have "mutually agreed" that he will not attend this year's Met Gala. This year’s gala will honor the legacy of late fashion designer Karl Lagerfeld, and it's set to take place on May 1st. Furthermore, and perhaps more intriguingly, Marvel has not discussed whether or not it will replace Jonathan as its current Kang the Conqueror. This comes after the US Army removed Jonathan from their "Be All You Can Be" campaign advertisements. The entertainment world was rocked when news broke that the Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania star was arrested in New York City last month. The Lovecraft Country star, 33, was arrested and subsequently released on charges of strangulation, assault, and harassment following a domestic dispute in the Chelsea neighborhood on March 25th. Shockingly, the incident resulted in a 30-year-old woman being rushed to the hospital with minor injuries to her head and neck. TMZ previously reported that the woman is Jonathan’s girlfriend, and the argument broke out as they were in a taxi heading home from a Brooklyn bar. The Hollywood actor was hit with a whopping five counts, including two counts of third-degree assault, attempted third-degree assault, second-degree aggravated harassment, and second-degree harassment. Following Jonathan’s arrest, his lawyer, Priya Chaudhry, spoke out about the incident, reassuring fans that the arrest was simply a standard procedure related to the charges against him. According to Chaudhry's statement to The Hollywood Reporter, Jonathan’s legal team fully expects the charges to be dropped in due course. In a statement, Priya Chaudhry declared that Jonathan is "completely innocent" and that his legal team is working to gather evidence to present to the District Attorney. She said that the woman had recanted her story, and that she had video evidence to prove his innocence. Since then, no video has been made public, and the only "recantation" from the alleged victim has come in the form of text messages allegedly sent to Jonathan after his arrest. The texts, allegedly sent by the woman involved in the incident just hours after the CREED III star’s arrest, claim that "this was not an attack and they do not have my blessing on any charges being placed." According to the messages, the woman takes responsibility for the altercation, saying that she tried to grab the actor's phone and that he was simply trying to protect himself. She also disavows any allegations that he had done anything to her and confirms that he called 911 because of her mental condition. “Please let me know you’re okay when you get this,” the woman wrote in the first text. “They assured me that you won’t be charged. They said they had to arrest you as protocol when they saw the injuries on me and they knew we had a fight. I’m so angry that they did. And I’m sorry you’re in this position. Will make sure nothing happens about this. I told them it was my fault for trying to grab your phone. I only just got out of hospital. Just call me when you’re out.” The second text simply read: “I love you.” In the third text message, she allegedly wrote, “They just called again to check on me and I reiterated how this was not an attack and they do not have my blessing on any charges being placed. I read the paper they gave me about strangulation and I said point blank this did not occur and should be removed immediately. The judge is definitely going to be told this. She ensured this to me. I know you have the best team and there’s nothing to worry about I just want you to know that I’m doing all I can my end. I also said to tell the judge to know that the origin of the call was to do with me collapsing and passing out and your worry as my partner due to our communication prior. Out of care. She promised all will be relayed.” The messages released come as a supplement to supposedly forthcoming evidence that should, per Chaudhry, deem Jonathan “completely innocent” and show that he is “probably the victim” of the altercation.  What does Jonathan Majors having a white girlfriend and two children by a white woman say about Jonathan Majors?

The messages released come as a supplement to supposedly forthcoming evidence that should, per Chaudhry, deem Jonathan “completely innocent” and show that he is “probably the victim” of the altercation.

It's been a banner year for the star of The Harder They Fall, who has received widespread praise for his performances in both the CREED and Ant-Man film series. But perhaps the most exciting development for fans of the actor is his role as Kang, a character he first portrayed in the hit series Loki. This performance has already generated buzz, and we will soon see him take on the lead role in the upcoming superhero film Avengers: The Kang Dynasty, set to hit theaters in 2025.

Jonathan Majors is set to appear in court on May 8th.
