10 years after making her mark as one the American Music Awards’ (AMAs) most memorable hosts ever, Jennifer Lopez is looking to repeat the feat as this year’s mistress of ceremony.

Dick Clark Productions took to press this week to announce Lopez has been tapped to be hostess of the 2025 American Music Awards.

“We are thrilled to welcome Jennifer Lopez back to host the American Music Awards,” said Jay Penske, CEO of Dick Clark Productions in an official statement. “Jennifer’s incredible talent and incomparable stage presence make her the ideal host of the show.  We know she will bring her one-of-a-kind energy to the official kick-off celebration of summer.”

No stranger to the ceremony known as one of music’s biggest nights, J. Lo’s not only hosted once before (2015) but has also been a featured performer more than 10 times over her 25-year singing career.

Airing on CBS for the first time in its 51-year history, this year’s AMAs will be its inaugural showing from Las Vegas.

Coming to screens live on May 26, producers for the event are using its Memorial Day telecast to “pay special tribute to our U.S. troops and veterans through authentic performances and unforgettable moments.”
