James Harden Discusses Victor Wembanyama’s Leap in Season 2

After his spectacular performance in New York on Christmas Day, Victor Wembanyama—who had been hailed as the NBA’s future face since his draft—may be living up to the hype. Following the LA team’s victory over the Warriors last night, James Harden of the Los Angeles Clippers seemed to share that sentiment, calling the Frenchman a “beast on both ends.”

Given that the Clippers and Spurs are playing on the final day of the season, reporters might have been searching for ways to spice up the game.

Harden’s observations regarding Wemby’s general progress are corroborated by the eye test. The big man for the Spurs is setting career highs in shooting %, blocks, and scoring.
