After making a ridiculous statement on the health of boxing legend Mike Tyson, Jake Paul found himself in hot water. Paul made the odd claim that Tyson had been diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease but had been “cured” by smoking toad during a discussion about psychedelics with streamer Adin Ross.

With assurance, Paul said: “Ayahuasca is really good for your brain as well. And same with toad! Toad cured Tyson’sParkinson’s so that he could come back and fight,”

When asked how it operated, his response was straightforward: “You smoke it.” Paul swiftly withdrew his statement on social media after his comments caused supporters to become confused and alarmed.

Paul responded to the criticism on social media shortly after the scandal started, accusing the internet of misinterpreting his remarks.

He wrote: “Bruh…Mike Tyson didn’t have no Parkinson’s…WTF. Why the f*** is the internet so stupid for. I misspoke,”. “Meant he used toad to heal his pain. He has spoken about it many times. Just like I do. Just like many do.”

Tyson’s representative also intervened to dispel the reports, telling DailyMail.com that the former heavyweight champion is doing well. According to the spokesperson: “Mike is happy and perfectly healthy,”. “He doesn’t have Parkinson’s or any other illness.”

Notwithstanding Paul’s original assertion, there is currently no known cure for Parkinson’s disease, but there are a number of medications that can help control its symptoms.
