That, along with the discourse around her foray into Country, appears to have created the perfect storm of buzz around the single – which has leaped in at #2 on the coveted count.

In doing so, the track delivers the diva the highest solo debut of her career.

What’s more, it’s her overall highest premiere on the chart this decade.

And when placed in the context of her colossal career at large, it serves as her second-highest start on the Hot 100 tally outside of the #1 debut of ‘Perfect Duet’ with Ed Sheeran in 2017.

The superstar’s catchy anthem pulled off the feat with the following U.S. stats in the latest tracking week (with just four days of availability):

• 19.2 million streams
• 4.8 million in airplay audience
• 39,000 digital downloads

‘Texas Hold ‘Em’ now serves as Beyonce’s 22nd top 10 hit on the Hot 100.

Jack Harlow’s ‘Lovin’ on Me’ continues reigns for its sixth week. Kanye West & Ty Dolla $ign’s ‘Carnival’ debuts at #3.

Elsewhere, Bey’s ’16 Carriages’ opens at #38 (registering 10.3 million streams, 90,000 in radio audience, and 14,000 sold).

Suffice it to say, this bodes all sorts of well for ‘Act II’ – due on March 29. Especially as all signs point to ‘Texas’ climbing again next week.
