First Look Trailer: Tiwa Savage’s ‘Water & Garri’

Tiwa Savage is transforming her EP ‘Water & Garri’ into a feature film.

Set for a May 10 premiere on Amazon’s Prime Video, the Meji Alabi-directed movie sees the performer take center stage in her acting debut as Aisha.

After 10 years away building an entrepreneurial empire in the US, she makes an emotional return to her hometown in Nigeria.

She quickly learns that while some bonds stay the same, time and distance have affected the flavor and flow of her relationships with the loved ones she left behind.

Savage stars alongside Mike Afolarin, Andrew Bunting, and Jemima Osunde.
