A new trailer for ‘I Know What You Did Last Summer’ has been released, and it’s serving heightened suspense – and the infamous line from Jennifer Love Hewitt.

The reboot of the original 90s film franchise follows a mirroring storyline of five friends who cause a deadly car accident, cover it up, and swear secrecy of the event.

However, a year later, the quintet has to confront what they’ve done because…someone knows what they did last summer and is seeking revenge.

With each one of the friends being stalked by the killer, they reach out to two survivors of the infamous Southport Massacre of 1997 for help.

In a fresh look at the eagerly awaited flick, Hewitt, who starred in the original, delivers her iconic final girl line from the ’97 film:

‘What are you waiting for?’

She is joined in the film by fellow returnee Freddie Prinze Jr., together reprising their roles of Julie James and Ray.

They star alongside new additions to the franchise, including Madelyn Cline, Chase Sui Wonders, Jonah Hauer-King, Tyriq Withers, and Sarah Pidgeon.

Speaking on the film, Hewitt says:

“There’s lots of ’90s in there, so get excited because the ’90s are back again! And there’s lots of twists and turns. I don’t think people are going to expect anything that’s coming.”

‘I Know What You Did Last Summer’ is hitting theaters on July 18.
