Despite criticism that his throwing percentages have been declining year after year, Jalen Hurts has put the Philadelphia Eagles back in the running for the Super Bowl.
Hurts led the team to victory over the Pittsburgh Steelers on Sunday with 290 passing yards and two touchdowns. He began his postgame press conference by asking reporters if “that’s what they wanted to see?” while wearing a sparkling chain.
Domonique Foxworth puts Jalen Hurts on a blast
Former NFL defensive back and current ESPN analyst Domonique Foxworth claimed on Tuesday’s “Get Up” that Hurts’ comments following that game received no criticism because of “pretty privilege.”
Foxworth stated: “He got up at the press conference after the game, and he acted like he was Josh Allen,” “Look at this man with his Kangol looking like Nino Brown… with three thousand million trillion dollars worth of diamonds on his neck, and he acting like he just went for 400 yards for three weeks in a row.”
“Man, you had one good week passing. And everyone forgets it when he starts batting his eyes at you.”

The Eagles are leading the NFC East after 15 weeks under Hurts. This season, he has amassed 2,892 yards, 18 touchdowns, and just five interceptions. His career-high completion percentage of 69.2% is the highest it has ever been. Furthermore, his 12 victories almost equaled his 14-1 2022 starting season.
With three games remaining, Philadelphia has won ten straight games.
