Drake just lost a crazy $800K bet on the NBA Finals Game 6! Talk about a big loss. I mean, that’s like pocket change for him, but still, that’s a lot of money to lose on a game.

On Thursday, the Grammy-winning rapper and global superstar revealed he’s down over $8 million in sports betting losses over the last month alone—and that number ballooned to nearly $9 million after another brutal miss on Game 6 of the 2025 NBA Finals.

“Gotta share the other side of gambling,” Drake wrote on social media. “Losses are so fried right now. I hope I can post a big win for you all soon, ’cause I’m the only one that has never seen a max — these guys max once a week.”

Despite his cold streak, Drake rolled the dice again Thursday night, placing a massive $600,000 bet on the Oklahoma City Thunder to defeat the Indiana Pacers and tacking on an additional $200,000 wager that the Thunder would win by a 6–10 point margin.

The Pacers pulled off a convincing victory to force a Game 7, sending Drake’s combined $800,000 investment up in smoke and bringing his total documented losses this month to around $8.8 million.

But hey, at least he can afford to lose that kind of cash. I guess that’s the price you pay for being a high-rolling celebrity like Drake. Better luck next time, man!
