Jeremy Reaves Proposes to Girlfriend on Field

The Washington Commanders‘ postseason berth is just one of many things that Jeremy Reaves will be celebrating on Sunday night.

Reaves experienced one of the most significant moments of his life after the Commanders punched their ticket to the postseason. On the field at Northwest Stadium, the 28-year-old asked his fiancée, Mikaela Worley, to marry him, and she accepted.

Reaves, a Washington special teams star, was spotted proposing to his girlfriend, who is now engaged, and asking for her hand in marriage. The NBC broadcast captured a touching call of the moment provided by Cris Collinsworth and Mike Tirico on camera.

“Of course, she said yes. You’re in the playoffs now.”

Tirico said: “Jeremy Reaves, who played 22 special teams snaps, has the most special one of all. Taking a knee at the end of the game for victory… Of course she said yes, you’re in the playoffs now!”

Reaves’s teammates were ecstatic for him, and his fiancée was spotted hugging Commanders punter Tress Way with excitement before they went down the tunnel to the locker room.
