The moment in question features influencer Pablo Tamayo, who handed Doja a tank top from his Pride clothing line during a street encounter that included a hug and a kiss on the cheek. At the time, Doja smiled and accepted the shirt, prompting Tamayo to post the video online with the caption:

“When Doja Cat likes your shirt, you giver her your shirt.”

But days later, Doja changed the narrative. In a now-deleted post on X, she wrote:

“I threw that musty a** shirt away btw.”

She later explained that she felt “manhandled” and that the fan didn’t even know her name. She posted:

“And don’t touch me and man handle me when you don’t even f*ckin know me. iykyk. I honestly think I need to stand up for myself in the moment sometimes. and he didn’t even know my f*ckin name to be touching me and kissing me on my face like that is crazy.”

Tamayo responded in a TikTok, saying he never meant to make her uncomfortable and had only filmed with her permission. He said:

“I apologize if I did anything wrong at all.

However, he has now clapped back by dancing to Shoreline Mafia’s ‘Musty’ and announcing his own merch, a tank top that reads “Must A** Shirt.” He captioned his post:
