Justin Timberlake‘s driving while intoxicated legal drama is officially over.
As reported, the Pop star copped a plea deal that saw him avoid fessing up to the initial charge leveled against him and instead pleading guilty to the lesser count of driving while ability impaired.
Today (September 13), the pact was formalized in court and he was handed a $500 fine. Following the hearing, JT held a press conference and addressed the matter – specifically his lapse in judgment.

The performer was arrested back in June after cops noted the odd trajectory of his vehicle while in the Hamptons. Upon stopping the NSYNC star, the initial filing suggested he smelt alcohol and had bloodshot eyes. As a result, he was detained and booked.
With the situation now in rearview, Timberlake has broken his relative silence.
Inside the court, the ‘Cry Me A River’ singer told the presiding judge:
“I should’ve had better judgment. I understand the seriousness of this.”
Speaking to the waiting press outside, the 43-year-old said:
“I did not live up to the standards that I try to hold for myself. I’m grateful for the opportunity to move forward.”
He branded his actions a “mistake” and vowed to use his platform to help others make “better decisions.”
