‘In Da Club’ hitmaker 50 Cent is about to find himself in da studio a lot sooner than expected thanks to fuel from longtime industry friend Eminem who recently made headlines for suggesting it’s time the two join forces for a full-on joint album.

As proteges of Dr. Dre, Em (born Marshall Mathers) and 50 (born Curtis Jackson) have a long history together – time enriched by appearances on multiple tracks together including ‘Crack a Bottle,’ ‘Don’t Push Me,’ Patiently Waiting,’ and more over the years.

Most recently tag-teaming on the song ‘Gunz N Smoke’ aboard Snoop Dogg and Dre’s critically acclaimed ‘Missionary‘ album released this month, the reunion reawakened interest in an Em and 50 joint album.

When quizzed about that very topic on Christmas Eve in a rare SiriusXM interview, Mathers suggested he was strongly in favor.

“That would be great,” he said. “We just gotta stop bulls–tting and just do it. I would never say it’s not possible, what the f–k?!”

Taking to social media in response, Jackson seemed to be down for the duet project.

“Looks like I’ll be back in the booth after all! Just gotta do this residency in Vegas first,” he penned on social media Friday (December 27).

The news undoubtedly sent both rappers’ fan groups into a complete frenzy, giving them even more reason to check out his current residency in Sin City.
