Devin Bush of the NFL Arrested for Assaulting His Girlfriend

Devin Bush, a linebacker for the Cleveland Browns and a top-10 prospect in the 2019 NFL Draft, was arrested in Pennsylvania on Sunday.

According to court documents that TMZ Sports was able to get, the former outstanding player for the University of Michigan was imprisoned in Allegheny County on two distinct charges: simple assault and harassment.

Bush’s fiancée informed police that the football player shattered her phone after a furious argument on Sunday morning, according to the police criminal complaint.

According to the woman, she started recording Bush during the altercation. When he discovered that she was doing so, he chased her around the house and “aggressively” attempted to take away her phone.

Bush, a standout player for the Wolverines from 2016 to 2018, was selected by the Pittsburgh Steelers with the 10th overall choice in ’19… and played for the team for four seasons. He signed with Seattle in 2023 and played for Cleveland in 2024.

In a statement released on Monday, Browns executives acknowledged that they were aware of Bush’s arrest and were “gathering more info.” Throughout his career, Bush has started 61 games, including 10 for Cleveland last season.
