As the music industry continues to reel from the May 24 death of Tina Turner, expect even more tributes to pour in over the next few months via award shows, TV specials, concerts, and more.

And while the likes of Lizzo, Beyonce, K. Michelle, and other big industry names have already taken to the stage to lend a tribute to the ever-reigning Rock Queen, the first name tapped to do so for a televised event is rising R&B diva Chloe Bailey.

The 2nd annual ‘Juneteenth: A Global Celebration for Freedom’ event, presented by Live Nation Urban and Jesse Collins Entertainment, is set to be broadcast on CNN and OWN live from Los Angeles on Monday (June 19).

Bailey’s tribute to Turner shines as a highlight on a megawatt roster of performers that includes Nelly, SWV, Charlie Wilson, Coi Leray, Muni Long, Miguel, Kirk Franklin, Davido, Jodeci, and more.

“Last year, we launched Juneteenth: A Global Celebration for Freedom, and it was emotional and unforgettable for everyone involved. We’ve teamed up with our partners at CNN and Jesse Collins Entertainment again and this year we are broadcasting live from the historic Los Angeles venue, the Greek Theatre. We are looking forward to educating and celebrating the Juneteenth holiday,” shared Shawn Gee, President of Live Nation Urban.
